Karen Lehmann, interim library director and information literacy librarian, was selected as the first recipient of the Iowa Library Association’s Association of College and Research Libraries Research Award.
Lehmann’s winning article “Assessment of Student Learning at the Reference Desk” was co-authored with Jill Gremmels, former Wartburg College librarian. Lehman was presented with the award March 3, 2008 at the annual ILA/ACRL business meeting at St. Ambrose in Davenport, Iowa.
The article appeared in the November 2007 issue of College and Research Libraries.
The Iowa Library Association’s academic libraries subdivision offers the award and monetary grant for a presented or published scholarly work by a current member.
